Windows Experience Index for XP.  I cannot locate SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE after selecting Start and Control Panel.
I am following the steps to view our computer's base score by trying to open Performance and Tools by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance and then clicking Performance Information and Tools. However, I cannot locate the System and Maintenance icon so, therefore, cannot proceed. Perhaps this does not apply to our computer? Yes, we use IE8 and XP Professional.4 people need an answerI do too

Windows XP does not come with the Windows Experience Index. That is only available in Vista/Win7.But there are other performance tests that can be used to benchmark your computer.http://www.cnet.com/topic-software/benchmarking.html?tag=lia;lcolThat is a link to several benchmark tests. Some are free, others are not.Have fun,DWN2DV8
